The challenge
The e-commerce industry keeps changing, so Magento keeps updating its platform with better features. To use some of these features, Rare Find Nursery wanted to upgrade its website from Magento 2.3.3 to Magento 2.4.1. The challenge of this Rare Find Nursery migration was to move all data without any loss.
What we built
Rare Find Nursery needed features for business growth. For that reason, Team Zehntech suggested a migration of the website from Magento 2.3.3 to Magento 2.4.1. First, we prepared updated customer and product data sheets and exported them from the live site without any loss of data. Then our talented developers re-designed the website’s checkout page and added a few basic functions.
We also added other features that the client requested, including custom sliders on the home page and email verification for users who sign up. They also include a Re-Captcha feature and custom fields on the custom sign-up page. Finally, we set up and configured SMTP.
In addition to these development and migration tasks, we partnered with the client to set up their complete AWS infrastructure. This included setting up the server and installing the LAMP stack on it.
Our team did not only set up the complete application on AWS. We also helped with the end-to-end migration of the application and its database from the development environment to the customer’s production environment. For SMTP, we used Amazon Simple Email Service.
