OpenAI chatbot that helps seniors avoid fraud
Older people needed one trustworthy place to learn about Medicare, Social Security and financial fraud, in plain language.

Built an Informational Bubble.io Website with AI Chat Support Feature
About the project
A senior living community founder in the United States wanted an informational Bubble.io website. The site helps senior citizens learn about four important topics: Medicare, Social Security, financial security, and elder fraud protection. The goal was to show them how to prevent elder fraud and protect themselves.
First, the Zehntech team suggested adding OpenAI to the website. This makes it easier for senior citizens to communicate with the site. Using prompt engineering, the team trained the OpenAI model to answer the inputs that website users provide. Additionally, they added multilingual support, so people can use the site in English, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, and Filipino.
The website was a success. It helped many senior citizens learn about important financial topics and protect themselves from fraud. It also served as a valuable resource for family members and caregivers who wanted to help their loved ones stay safe.
What we built
After we understood the client’s vision, the Zehntech team created a comprehensive solution. It includes the following parts.
- A user-friendly informational website built from scratch on Bubble.io. The website features a landing page, user login, admin dashboard, and four pages about Medicare, social security, financial services, and elder fraud protection. These pages offer FAQs, informational videos, complaint letter guides, templates, and suggestions.
- We also integrated an OpenAI chatbot into the website. Using prompt engineering, we trained the model to give the right responses to senior citizens.
- In addition to FAQs, users can generate templates for any type of complaint letter. They can print, share, or email these templates as needed.
- The AI chatbot also supports multiple languages through the Google Translate API. This means that users can type text in their preferred language and receive responses in English. Then they can translate the response back into their preferred language if they wish.
- Another feature is text to speech and speech to text. This allows users to speak their inputs instead of typing them. Then the OpenAI model converts the speech to text and generates a response. Users can also convert the text response into audio.

The result for the client
The platform gives seniors the information and tools they need to protect themselves from elder fraud. We offer a variety of resources, including educational materials, fraud prevention tips, and a fraud reporting system. Seniors can also connect with other seniors and with experts in elder fraud prevention through our online community. For more projects like this, see our web development services.
