Our Approach

AI-native delivery: a working system, and the engineer who runs it.

AI can write code now, cheaply and fast. A working system still has to be fitted to how a business runs, connected to the tools it uses, and looked after when it matters. That part is our job, and it is how we work with every client.

A 30-minute call with an engineer, with an agenda you set.

What is changing

Renting developers by the hour is ending

For twenty years the deal was simple. A business needed software, and somewhere a team would build it for less. The market paid for hours. AI agents now write much of the code, so buying cheaper hours is no longer a reason to hire anyone. We would rather say that plainly and build for what comes next.

What stays the same

Someone still has to make the system work in your business

Generated code is a starting point. Between that and a working system sits the work AI does not do for you: understanding an operation nobody wrote down, connecting the system to the tools you run, deciding what it may touch, and standing behind the result at month end. That was always the real work.

Why we can say this

We run our own business on our own AI products

In production

Odient

Our own Odoo runs on it. It drafts quotations, chases invoices and reconciles bills, and nothing runs until a person approves it.

Our Odoo apps

Business apps that companies we have never met find, install and rate. Our engineering is public before you call us.

How we work

What working with us looks like

01
With an engineer

A 30-minute call

Bring the problem as it is. You leave knowing whether we are the right fit.

You getAn honest answer
02
Before any build

A written spec

We agree what the system will do, what it may touch and how we will measure it.

You getA scope you approve
03
Then regular releases

An early working release

We deploy a first version shaped to how you work, in weeks.

You getSomething your team can use
04
No hand-off to strangers

An engineer who stays

The engineer who built it stays to run it, tune it and fix it. We call them forward-deployed engineers.

You getOne person who knows your system
05
Agreed at the start

Paid for the outcome

Where it fits, we agree the result up front and price against it.

You getOutcome-based delivery
Our rules

Three rules for every system we ship

01

AI with limits

Every agent has a scope, a budget and an approval step. A person signs off on anything it writes.

02

Connected through MCP

Models reach your systems through MCP servers that load only the tools a task needs.

03

Spec before code

Every project starts from a written spec and passes checks before release. We built our own Claude Code skill for it.

From the founder

Why we work this way

AI can write the code now. The code was never what you were paying for. The system underneath it, the part that has to scale, stay secure and still work in year five, is what we have spent thirteen years learning to build.

FAQ

Common questions

What does AI-native delivery mean?

We use AI agents in how we build, test and run software, and we put AI into the systems we deliver when it helps. We run our own company the same way.

What is a forward-deployed engineer?

An engineer who works inside your project from build to operation, knows your system, and stays responsible for it after launch.

Do you still build custom software?

Yes. Most systems we deliver are custom or extend a platform like Odoo. The difference is that the engineer stays with it and the price is tied to the result where that fits.
