Customization and support for an industrial manufacturer
Odoo was partly in place, but inventory control, order tracking, product lifecycle and billing were missing, and reporting was hard.

Odoo Customization, Integration, Consultation, Maintenance and Support for an Automobile Parts Manufacturer
About the project
Our European client makes and sells Hydraulic & Pneumatic Actuators for valve automation. They had already set up the Odoo software suite for enterprise operations. However, they needed more modules to complete their product lifecycle management process. This covered management information systems (MIS), inventory control, order management, tracking the lifetime of a product, and billing. They engaged an Odoo specialist to redesign, integrate, and maintain the Odoo system for their extensive business activities.
Odoo professionals at Zehntech Technologies audited the existing ERP system thoroughly. Then they helped the company by integrating the necessary Odoo modules and fine-tuning the system configurations. We used the potential of the Odoo platform, which led to streamlined and improved business process automation. This Odoo customization for the manufacturer covered the whole process.
The challenge
The client had operational difficulties within their current Odoo system. They needed a tailored solution to tackle these obstacles. It had to allow simple product configuration, distinctive reporting, and smooth integration throughout their business processes. The client also asked for custom settings to improve their sales and procurement module.
What we built
The enterprise solution, based on Odoo module integration and customization, offers a comprehensive set of functions.
Reports Customization & Synchronization
We used the built-in report generator in Odoo to create custom reports. We also used the Odoo framework to create report templates with XML according to the client’s specifications.
The team used Odoo’s scheduler across business operations. We developed custom workflows that run whenever backend data changes. As a result, reports show the refreshed data and reach the right stakeholders promptly.
To import product data from the client’s existing Excel sheet, the team used Odoo’s built-in import functionality. We then verified the imported information to confirm its accuracy.
Product Life Cycle Mapping
We assessed the client’s pre-configured system for effective product lifecycle management. Modules for product management, inventory management, sales, and purchasing work together. We customized some of them to meet specific business needs.
Order Management
We built workflows to track and manage sales and purchase orders from beginning to end. For this, we integrated the sales and invoicing modules of Odoo.
Sales and Purchase Modules Customization
This ensures accurate data flow and information management in compliance with industry standards.
Consulting Services
We helped them identify and document their business processes. We also mapped Odoo modules and system configurations, and we trained staff to use the Odoo system well.
Maintenance & Support
The Zehntech Odoo team gave constant support to keep the system stable. This included monitoring performance issues, applying security updates, and resolving bugs promptly. Learn more about our Odoo support services.
