GMPPlating : Joomla to WordPress Migration Of Website
The client owns a GMP plating company that is heavily reliant on their website which was built in Joomla.
About the project
The client owns a GMP plating company that relies heavily on its website, which was built in Joomla. The client had continuous issues with the website during daily operations, so they wanted to move to the WordPress CMS platform. Zehntech completed this Joomla to WordPress migration in a simple and seamless way. We also kept the look and feel of the website the same as before.
The challenge
Today, competition is fierce and many companies go global through websites. However, building a website is not enough. You must also maintain it. The business challenge here was the maintenance and improvement of the website.
The customer had a Joomla website for its GMP plating business, and its main operations relied on this website. During their daily activities, the client began to experience platform issues. They also struggled to keep the website up to date.
What we built
First, we audited and evaluated the website to find the nature of the issues. We concluded that the client faced platform limitations. As their operations expanded, they needed a more robust platform for the website and its maintenance.
Then we planned a solution: migrate the website to the latest version of WordPress. We migrated the website to WordPress 5 and installed all the latest modules and plugins. We also used the same themes and designs, so the look and feel of the website stayed consistent on the new platform.
