Zehntech: Relaunching a Success With a Digital Push

Zehntech is giving its brand a digital push with a brand new website. We want to create brand awareness on digital platforms, so we are rejuvenating ourselves a bit with a brand new website. After 5 successful years in the industry, we now want to strengthen the brand value even more. Before going into the details of the redesign, I would like to share our experiences and our changing thoughts about trends.

Launching of Our Website

We started our journey 5 years back in 2013 as an IT product and service company. We work in a dynamic environment, and the market had seen a technological and digital shift. Business was moving away from manual, traditional methods, and going digital was in vogue. As an IT company, we considered it important to follow this trend. So, to keep up with the changing environment, we decided to promote our products and services through a website. We built our first company website as a hi-tech complex website. It used the latest technology with a simple non-graphical UI.

Experience with the Website

Our idea worked, and people appreciated the website. Anyone could easily see our technological efficiency, and clients started appreciating our efforts.

Now, you must be wondering: if everything was perfect, what compelled us to redesign our website?

Here is where the problem lies?

We had a rich, technologically perfect website with a simple UI, and yes, it was mobile responsive as well. However, over time we realized something. We got a good number of hits, but people did not stay long, and the bounce rate was high enough to hurt our tag of perfection.

We were keen to know the reasons, so we used some tools to analyze the problem. They showed that users could not find a way to navigate the website. Moving from one page to another was really difficult, which left them no option but to exit.

We needed a solution quickly, because less user interaction meant less business through the website. So, here is how we reached one.

The solution to the Existing Problem

The analytics tools helped us find ways to improve the overall interaction. We analyzed the website, competitors, market trends and search engine trends. After that, we concluded that we needed to modernize our website. We also needed a better, interactive UX and a more attractive UI to hold our audience and let them feel the liveliness of the website.

With this idea of modernization, we introduced an easy-to-navigate UI/UX website structure with the integration of modern media tools like graphics, animations, and videos.

Our Approach to the Digital Push

Only the right approach can bring you results, and we felt that approach began with designing and launching a logo, because a logo is as important as a website. A famous American graphic designer, Saul Bass, said:
“Logos are a graphical extension of the internal realities of a company”

With this thought, we worked with a graphic designer. After lots of suggestions and discussions, we decided that our logo would be an initial of our brand name in blue. Blue was our first choice to show our depth and stability. With blue, we wanted to show the calm and confidence with which we pursue growing any business with our expertise.

With a perfect logo in place, it was time to solve the major problem our users faced. We had to create a navigation structure that lets users move comfortably through the website. For this, we needed a better UI/UX, which is very important to us because it solves the problem we had with our previous website.

So, we created a better UI/UX that explains how we can solve business problems as your extended IT hands, what we have done so far and what we are aiming for. We are now relaunching our website with an all-new look to enhance user experience and avoid the situations mentioned above. This relaunch is our digital push.

Questions About Websites

With our experience, I would like to answer some questions that can help you understand websites and how they work.

  1. “Does a hi-tech complex website work?
Being a software company, in the past 5 years, we realized that having a high tech complex website does not have any worth if our audience cannot find a way to explore more about us.

Let us understand this with a situation. As a businessperson, have you ever thought about having potential customers on your company website who cannot find a way to contact you? This is one of the worst nightmares a businessperson can have. Similarly, a high-tech website can attract potential customers, but people may not understand how it works. They might lose interest, and that leads to a loss of website traffic and, in turn, customers. So, a hi-tech complex website is, after all, not a good idea.

  1. Is creating a website enough to get the business?

Having a website is important, but being good and effective is what matters. A website will not give you good business unless you maintain it properly. You need to stay responsive on your website. Creating a website, leaving it unattended, and still expecting business from it is like expecting a machine to run without turning on the power. A machine won’t run by itself. It needs a bit of manual push, and so does a website. In this situation, digital marketing can help us get the desired results and make the website worth it.

  1. Is receiving a good amount of hits on the website enough?

A person who hits the website must stay on it for a sufficient time. Many times we click a link or a website but leave immediately. Maybe the website doesn’t appeal to us, or we can’t understand its UI/UX, or it doesn’t contain what we are looking for. This increases the bounce rate. So, receiving hits is not enough. It is equally important to keep your audience engaged and interested, and the simple key is a modernized, advanced UI/UX. If you want help with yours, see our web development services.
