Infographer – Sharepoint Webpart Development
Provide a visually attractive and self-explanatory view of your data with Infographer. It allows you to easily add visually dynamic charts and graphs to your SharePoint sites.

About the project
The Infographer SharePoint webpart is a result of our SharePoint webpart development work. It gives you a visually attractive and self-explanatory view of your data. You can easily add dynamic charts and graphs to your SharePoint sites. You do not need to learn coding or BI tools. In a few steps, you can create charts from your SharePoint data sources. As a result, decisions become more strategic because you get real-time insights from your data points. Also, you can share this information as PDFs or images, so collaboration stays smooth. You can highlight data sources or view tooltips by hovering over graphs. Selectable legends enable runtime filtering, so you can hide or highlight certain elements or chart types. You can also view real-time configuration changes in a chart web part. Read about our custom software services.
The challenge
The client asked for a no-code webpart. It had to support creating, customizing, visualizing and exporting charts in minimal time. The client expected better decisions through real-time insights from data points. For that reason, the design had to visualize trends and help analyze relational stats with clarity.
What we built
The webpart lets you create charts from your SharePoint data sources in no time, with no scripting or BI tools. Its main feature is an interactive chart. You can prepare it from 8 interactive options, including scatter plot, donut graph, pie chart, and line graph. The configuration is easy and quick. You need no coding knowledge and no learning curve with complicated BI tools. In addition, the web part can aggregate your data with sums, average, min, max, or count using X and Y axis options.
The webpart has these features:
1. First, it supports developing effective reports and combining and grouping statistics.
2. Second, you can print or export charts in PDF and other formats for presentations or email.
3. Also, it helps teams work together because charts display on multiple devices.
4. Moreover, users create charts in a few simple steps without any knowledge of coding or BI tools.
5. Finally, users can quickly highlight statistics or get helpful tooltips by hovering over the charts.
A look at the work
The result for the client
Our SharePoint team spent hours on this project and impressed the client with the web part. The project was a success because it offers better visualization without needing coding or other tool expertise. The web part also supported the client in decision making. It serves insights in a format that is quick to grasp and understand. Finally, we blended the client’s requirements with our tech expertise. The result is a web part that supports Modern sites for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
